La musica, le favole ed i bambini sono al centro di un evento di beneficenza ispirato a Leonardo da Vinci in occasione del 500° anniversario dalla scomparsa del grande genio italiano.
In questa serata, presentata da Paola Saluzzi, la lettura delle favole di Leonardo, bellissime e poco note, è affidata alla voce di Luisa Ranieri, mentre la Banda musicale della Polizia di Stato, accompagnata dalla Schola Cantorum e Cantoria dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia e giovani talenti al violino e al pianoforte, esegue brani ispirati allo stesso Leonardo, musiche di Ennio Morricone e canti natalizi. I fondi raccolti sono destinati a sostenere progetti di arte e scienza per bambini meno fortunati in Giordania, Kenya e Ucraina.
Con l’iniziativa “Leonardo4Children”, oltre 700 bambini e ragazzi di tutta Europa hanno partecipato ai concorsi lanciati dalla Fondazione Carano 4 Children, illustrando le favole del Maestro, realizzando lavori scientifici ed artistici, componendo musica. La loro passione e la loro creatività, racchiuse in più di 300 opere originali, sono valorizzate per aiutare bambini che vivono in difficili contesti extra europei o in situazioni di sofferenza nel nostro Paese.
